Hip Hop lesson #2

This technique I do not know it's name. Again displayed by DJs sometimes as part of a routine, a full beat is made by using just a few parts of an original track, usually the kick and the snare as demostrated by JiggyTARmac in this short sound clip. The vinyl is manipulated back and forth and the crossfader is used to cancell the sound at the correct intervals. We can only guess that this technique was originated by either Kool Herc or Grandmaster flash in the early 80s Bronx, New York:

Terminator X of the legendary Public Enemy is to me the best at properly portraying this technique's use on record. listen Miuzi weighs a ton for an example :
